An analysis of the music, the lyrics, or both? Just curious.

2. Typing a transcription of Oprah while dressed as a ballerina, having blood drawn, and drinking Sanka in the heart of Opelika, Alabama.

Sounds like more fun right now.

The episode about The Secret?
During a root canal?

Oh, wow. I just listened to it. Wow.

the best is Sharolyn knew and nailed like the top 5 “bad” things that would normally be on your list. Love that girl and her amazing memory :)

You hate having blood drawn? I never knew that.

I do.
But I hate this f’ing Ani DiFranco song even more. So much more.

Somebody help me! I’ve got Stockholm syndrome! I’m starting to actually like this song. Shoot me! Somebody!
Okay, in all honesty, this is not a song I would ever have chosen, which means it’s leading to down paths I’ve never paid attention to before. In the past few hours, I’ve been listening to and reading about Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, Liz Phair, Riot Grrrl, 3rd Wave Feminism … all kinds of interesting stuff.
It’s also more than a little ironic to me that Meredith ends up being part of this whole big story.

Sleater-Kinney FTW! We’ll make a feminist out of you yet.

I am a feminist. I just by and large can’t stand the soundtrack for the movement.

Unfortunately, I actually saw the Oprah episode about The Secret. Jim Carrey was on it. Very annoying. Don’t get me wrong, I love his comedy. But I just don’t consider him a very reliable testimonial for inner peace and fulfillment.
