oooo, I figured out a cool hack, if anyone else wants to try, and gets the same problem.

I installed it this afternoon. I don’t care about any of the new features, except one: Stereo Bluetooth. Now, when I get into my car, my iPhone connects wirelessly to my stereo – not just for phone calls (which I’ve had forever) but for music. Kinda rad. And it works with the video files on my iPhone, too. Now I can show clients edits….once I lure them into my car with candy and such.

I have to pay 10 bucks to upgrade my ipod touch. Worth it?

Can you install it onto my Discman?

No.

copy/paste, and notes sync are the two biggies for me. multimedia sms will be nice when it finally arrives, but AT&T will probably charge an extra $50 a month to add that. I don’t even what to think about what they’ll charge for tethering.

I like it. Is it me, am I nuts, or does it seem to extend battery life a tad?

dunno – it’s not supposed to, but maybe it does.

I like it.
I was able to do a handful of comparisons with general tasks between my 8gb 3G and my buddy’s 32gb 3GS and his was easily twice as fast. It loaded safari pages faster, opened texts faster, opened apps faster. I like what OS3.0 adds to my current phone, but now those extra seconds of waiting taunt me. As if I have hundreds of dollars to blow on a replacement for my 9-month-old iPhone 3G that worked just fine up until I saw the shiny new pretty stuff.

I went from a 2g iphone to a 32gb 3G S and it has been a huge step up in performance, features and functionality.
