I am made small beneath the weight
of such gratitude
of such gracious outpouring
beneath the weight of this cup overflowing
How did I come to think that
any meaningful step could be made
alone?
I am made small
beneath the weight
of this cup
And am made vast, again
In the midst of such company
In the midst of such gracious outpouring
You left out, “Lest ye who f*cks up the bead-board, be banned from housewarmings forever.”
:)
I think that was pretty strongly implied in the piece, Zack.
damn. Does this mean that I get to spend some time in the Time Out room?
which room would that be? Thanks for the awesome shelves by the way. You rock.
The Time-Out room is actually the front closet. After I built the box with enough support for a person to sit on, Mike seemed to think it was OK to stuff your children in there.
I was gonna call Child Protective Services immediately, but I got distracted by the dangerous and exotic combination of beer and power tools.
Hey, what time does the move-fest begin on Wed? I may be late to the party, but I’m bringing my dancing shoes… err… work gloves.
