In related news, one of “The World’s Largest Fireworks Store” (aren’t they all) in Murfreesboro, TN caught fire today. Luckily nobody was hurt. Hope the same for your fire.
Mike: I just see music files when I click on “map of the fire”. I’m actually interested in the map. I understand they evacuated horses from Hidden Hills yesterday and I’m kind of hoping my house burns down so I can collect the insurance money (OK…really bad joke!). This appears to be the only way I’m going to collect anything after nearly two years on the market!
It turns out the staging area for the entire fire brigade is at the soccer fields about a mile from our house. There are hundreds and hundreds of firetrucks and firefighters all parked out there.
My first thought was, “It looks like the end of a Die Hard movie!”
I’ll shoot some pics tomorrow in the light, if they’re still there. It was an amazing scene.

I left Chad’s house today and think that I might’ve passed through one of the levels of Hell.

Sara and I have been in New York City since the fires broke out. We’ll be back Thursday night. The reports say our house is fine, whew!
But we’re in escrow on a house in Van Nuys right now. As long as the fires stay away from there, we’re all good. :)
