Remember me
Abe Laboriel at APU tonight. Hoooooleeeeey crap. Unreal.
Where’s the YouTube! Come on!
-Jealous!
Little Abe too?
Big Abe is amazing (obviously), but the coolest thing about him is how goldarn happy he looks when he’s playing. He’s the antithesis of the too-cool bass player.
I really wish I could have gone. I used to go watch him play at the Baked Potato with Vinnie Colauita and Greg Mathison and he was really inspiring.
all three of those guys are hacks.
Greg Mathison was on keys last night. That guy really knows how to drive a B3.
I was so bummed that I had to leave early for chapel rehearsal…. Curse you, Bryan Taylor… hah
But I LOVE watching Abe play… that guy can spend 2 minutes grooving on one note and make it sound sweeter than most bassist’s best lines…
