Yep! 4 of them in fact. I was trying to get a picture of Josiah standing alone, and he decided to just walk on over to me instead. Did I get that on film? No, I did not.
Everyone thinks I’m making a lot of bread on these. Basic cable people. Basic cable. This thing will be worth a few grand at most. I’m not complaining, mind you, but I’d have to do 10x the work for Disney that I do to make it a full time occupation.
Wow…I can’t believe that is the same person I held in my arms before we moved (I think he was like a month old). I am afraid your daily exercise output is about to double…good luck keeping up with him & congrats Josiah!
I was thinking along the same lines - so proud, and also holding my breath for all the extra work that comes with a walking boy! (We just installed an extra lock on the front door because ours figured out how to go outside when we weren’t looking… even when it was locked…)
Yippee!!! He’s mobile! It just keeps getting better. Before you know it, he will be running. Sorry you didn’t get it on video. I suppose you can always do a mock “first-steps” short film. We won’t tell =-)
He was a good boy and performed on cue for daddy this evening. Even upped the anty by going a whole 7 steps. This time, on video baby. What wonderful things “firsts” are. It’s amazing how happy something that we do easily every day and take for granted can make a mommy and daddy :)
Ella had a first just the other day at the LA Zoo…her very first cherry icee! Not quite the same, I know. But it was really funny because the other kids were saying, “mommy, mommy…I want a cherry icee” and Ella turned to me and said, “What’s an icee?” My response was…”you’ve never tasted an icee?” Well now we have no choice but to pony up the $5 and get one! Turns out…she didn’t like it. Here’s to firsts!

Awesome! First Mike learns to walk, now Josiah? That’s two in a year! :P
You better watch out, he might start making students miserable when you’re not looking :)

Huge news, guys. That’s awesome.
And then Chad goes and buries this post with his whole, “Look at me! I’m getting f*cking Disney paychecks! I’m awesome!”
Move this post up, Mike. without lil’ Josiah able to spend your money, Chad wouldn’t be getting those paychecks, anyway.

Congrats babycakes Lee! A first today for our boys: rollerskating. Let’s just say they became one with the wall.
