Wow… that place was awesome. And so was my 42 inch waist.

Aaaah… sorta good, moderately shameful times.

I have a photo of us at that meal, but that was 12 years ago and we can just use our imaginations. :)

What I remember is the owner giving us a free meal, and us discussing how we still needed to leave a gracious tip. It’s a nice restaurant, and there were 13 of us, so no small feat for college students. That morning, as we left our previous church, a host family gave us an envelope at the last minute and said, “This is for you guys, not the university. Thanks for your ministry.” Inside was $100. We left that as the tip, and the evening was a gift all-around.

I remember asking the waitress for some A1 sauce, just to get a reaction.
