It is right next to the Palace of Fine Arts, so also a beautiful place to picnic. An intriguing "sound" exhibit (I was trying to be brief for an *aside*!) was a listening station in which you listen to five couples argue, then decide which couple was arguing correctly. It was all about TONE and the science of human relationships (The Gottman Institute). If I could find it online, I would post it.
