I love it when artistic people do cool things to make the world a better place. I also love it when “church” happens away from the pews.

I am somewhat fascinated by the conflict of interest for Southern Baptists of voting Republican and keeping women out of leadership roles. Since I'm not as thinky as others on this blog, I give you an article.

Dropped the banner in.
I saw this when it first came out, and I was kind of skeptical. “OK, so, where is that money going? In envelopes address to ‘China’ with a note inside that says ‘please do not use for suppressing democratic free speech”?
I’m glad they partnered with World Vision. Cool idea, and I like it even better when an NGO with a strong reputation is holding the money bag.
Totally OT and sorry it comes so soon in the thread, but I’ve had an epiphany. I just finished watching the 1984 version of Dune. Yea, I know….slow day at work. The credits say that Kyle MacLachlan played Paul Muad’Dib Atreides. I don’t believe it. At the end when HE wills it to rain and is staring off into somewhere only HE can see, I’m reminded of Mr. Lee. All Mike needs is Blue on Blue eyes, or Paul needs a keyboard. “He is the Kwisatz Haderach”.

The guys who are organizing this are a couple of APU grads that started a design firm and now live out in Murrieta/ Temecula area. Not only are they spectacular designers, but they’re pretty cool guys. I got to go out and meet with them a couple of years ago.
I know that they’ve had some pretty big accounts, but the one that I’m the biggest fan of is JohnMayer.com.
That’s cool. I’m getting one.
Thought I’d pop this one back on the radar…
I just bought mine (I’m number 561!), as the store is now open. I don’t think they’re gonna actually print them until it gets to 2,000 so get over and get yours!
i went over shortly after you, Stick, and I was 698… they’re selliig quickly.
