To those who served, we thank you.
To those who fell, we honor your sacrifice.
Lord, hasten the day when your peace reigns, and war is a forgotten tragedy of a broken world.

Today I remember my grandfathers.
James Donald Reisser and Horace Richard Ketchum both flew B-24 Liberators during World War Two. My Papaw Ketchum was shot down over Poland in 1943, and spent the rest of the war in a POW camp, literally liberated as American and allied forces swept across Europe.
They are survived by many loved ones who miss them greatly on days like today. God bless America. God bless the world.

Also remember my brother Jon who is currently serving in the Air Force, he’s been over to the Gulf 3 times now. War takes a toll on those who return and their families as well as those who do not.
