As I drove to church this morning at 5:30, it was a sea of khaki and polos as far as the eye can see on the 5 Freeway. All worship leaders, hustling to their sunrise services.
DOWNER ALERT: Ramon and I went to my parents’ to color eggs and attend their church and eat their ham. My Easter was a craptastic suck-a-thon and I’m still not recovered. I’m considering launching a new blog for people who have at least one parent who’s a total prick.
Sorry, guys. I’m pretty raw right now. Christos Anesti or whatever.

This was the first Easter weekend where I didn’t feel like I wanted to up and die.
That was nice.

Today was a celebration end to end, from Sunrise and hymns to full gospel blowout in the late morning.
It’s so satisfying to have it all come together.
