I wish I'd thought of that. I did try to keep a list of some of the great things my daughter came out with when she was younger. She still has some great insights. She's a gifted writer, and she came down into the kitchen last week after spending a couple of hours in her room writing (longhand, mind you) and said, "I'm so frustrated! I know my characters are having a conversation, but I can't hear what they're saying!" That’s such a great idea. I wish I’d thought of that. I'll have to ask her. She advised to ask while they are playing so that you actually get answers. Her other son said that in a wife he wanted someone who knows how to make cake, because he loves cake. (She asked him while they were making a cake.) He then proceeded to lick the bowl.
