  1. Nice!

Robert Indiana’s LOVE would make my top 20 list.

    Corey?

  2. the kcet logo reminds me a bit of Johnny MayMay’s “Another Kind Of Green” greening project for his tours and “light green” lifestyle. And I understand that kcet has been around for quite bit longer than Mr. MayMay himself, my fanboy nature still gives him the trump card. It’s a sickness.

If I had to pick a favorite logo… hmmmm…. tough one. I like the one that Kodak introduced in the early 70’s and updated in the late 80’s (and just got rid of…). And I like simplicity, so Crate & Barrel is nice and clean to me as well. I love the subliminal arrow built into the right half of the FedEx logo (in the E and the X).

I know it makes me sound like a tremendous ass, but I like ones that I’ve done. Not because they’re better than something masters like Paul Rand has done, but because they’re like my own children and I spend time conceiving, nurturing, and incubating them until they’re ready for display. None of mine are gonna go down in history, but there’s a stronger love affair in place.

  3. Corey, would be willing to let us look at your photo album of your “children” ? I’d love to see what you’ve been doing lately.

  4. There’s ongoing posts of my client work at my own blog (www.dognmoon.com/bark). But I’ll gather a quick pdf this afternoon and post it for everyone to berate and wonder how I pay the bills with it. :)

  5. Hey Corey….love your blog. Two things:

    1. I personally trained all of the “Scooter Pilots”, for Scooter Media - the company you saw toting billboard-trailers from Vespa scooters. It was a few years ago, when the company first started in Venice, CA. Apparently, my background of Marketing and Avid Motorcycle Riding made me the perfect guy for the job. Fun company….I’m glad to see they’re still in business.

    2. Shoot me an email. I need a logo. I’m ready to pay you in six-packs of Bass Ale, and i’ll gladly green-light the first logo you send me. I hate my logo. zack@frequentflyerproductions.com

  6. Zack, if he’s busy, I can whip up something for you. Howz about this?

    Frequently Flyers!

  7. Mike,
I think I need some branding, can you help?

  8. Yes.

    Dogs and Moon!

    That’s be $75.99
