Did anyone (Mike…?) get to go to APU’s celebrate christmas this year? Hope I’m not to out of place in posting this…. Indiana version is fun; we, however, got to have a little fun ourselves this year…
First found it through friends on an album by Point Loma Nazarene University’s men’s acapella group, “Pointless”… I’ve heard of a couple other groups do transcriptions of it to perform it, with their own spin of course.
That is so cool…APU’s as well…makes me wish I had gone to a school that had cool groups to join like that. What a hoot it must be to be part of something that is that entertaining and wonderful to listen to.
That version is awesome! Love the Toto bit at the end!
Alex…my dad took my wife and I to the concert on Sunday evening. The entire presentation was superb, truly, but the Male Chorale’s “Twelve Days” was the topic of much discussion and laughter at dinner that night.
I’m thinking a nice remix of Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and anything from U2 is in order for the Oratorio Concert.
