September 10th! The Large Hadron Collider fires up its first pass.
(#)switching servers this morning - we'll see how it goes!
(#)I think I need to make peace with the fact that my work process is non-linear. It makes it very difficult to determine progress, but the final product always seems to arrive in time.
(#)For those of you in Northern Cal, I recommend the Exploratorium in SF. It is a kid- and adult-friendly hands-on museum of science experiments. Recently I was inspired by their exhibits on SOUND, and wished I had the Addison Roadhouse there so we could ponder together. Here are the quick tempered clavier and tone memory.

Awesome. My daughter was dancing to each one with joy. Great way to start the day :) The Ave Maria was pretty cool.
McFerrin is superhuman.
Bobby and my piano/vocal jazz prof are friends. When I was in college, Bobby came and sang at our big show on campus… on stage during the show he had us all in sections doing all sorts of crazy sounds and parts while he was improvising over the top. It was insane. And in the green room, he was very cool and fun to hang with.
That guy’s talent and skill are off the chart.
Oh, and that Fodera Emporer bass is pretty sick as well.
I think I might poop my pants. Does anyone know what performance this is from?
We were fortunate to see Bobby McFerrin many years back as an unknown/new artist at the Monterey Jazz Festival. And again a couple years ago at MJF with his son.
An amazing artist. A joy to see in a live performance.
Thank you for the music.
Chris Hahn, that would be from 2005’s Bobby McFerrin: Live in Montreal.
