   Pleasanton is a charming place. I love that there are no chain stores downtown. (We do have a few Starbucks.) It is the kind of place where neighbors actually know one another, and kids ride their bikes to little league, etc. My husband rides his bike to work about half of the time and comes home for lunch. We have a mall and mass transit to SF on the edge of town, and yet downtown there is a drive-through dairy. We’ve never had a compelling enough reason to leave.

   By the way, HERE is where he stayed (www.rosehotel.net). A little different than the Hilton.

   Okay. (Deep breath.)

   I have a problem. Aly tried an intervention. I thought I wanted the help. But I tried, and somehow was not in a place in my life to figure things out. I seek the forgiveness of those whose lives I have inconvenienced and am ready try again to make a change.
