We FINALLY got an offer on our condo and we close April 27. Yikes! Tomorrow (Friday) is Find A New Place To Live Day (with beer and fireworks at 8!), so if y’all could be praying for us, that’d be spectacular. We’re hippies and all, but I don’t think we’re quite ready for full-on street livin’.

  4. Those are only going for $500,000 here. You could totally do halvies in TN and have some pocket change.

    Yeah for the offer on the condo! We’ll be praying for a quick find on a new place!

    Aly, if you go for a fixer (and I’m NOT saying you should) we can help.

    Step 1: allocate 50% of your fixer budget for therapy.

    For reals though, saying a prayer this morning that you’ll find just what you need/want and will know it when you see it.

    We did find a wonderful little house in Oak View (10 minutes from Ventura) with a big back yard and plenty of room to BBQ - so alls yous are invited. We’ll get moved in over the next couple weeks and then send out the call for meat and beer. Summer nights in Oak View are the tops.
