This is the least surprising thing I have seen, ever. If ANYONE would volunteer to get tased, it’s Trevor Carpenter. I only hope it was for a good cause.

Funny Trevor story: During the year Ash and I were broken up, Ash dated a girl (who shall remain nameless) who had kind of a reputation for being not that smart. (This was probably undeserved, but I didn’t know her very well.) One night loading in the truck on choir tour, she did something (I forget what) that fell into the category of “not that smart,” and Trevor turned to me and declared, “She’s about as sharp as a biscuit.” Which was horribly cruel, but did wonders for my self-esteem.

I never want to try that out. Wow!

For the rest of ya’ll. I was tased because I am a corrections officer. It was an element of the training. Not everyone must be tased for the training, but it helps you know about the “tool” better.

There are several reasons why one would want to know about the effects of the taser. First, so that I know how to respond if ever it was taken from me. (ie. deadly force) Seccond, so that on the witness stand I can testify more effectively.

Just a few points. Enjoy watching my pain.

(Side Note:) I also recorded a friend getting tased. In post, I added the sound of a squealing pig. Oh yeah, brought great laughter to our platoon at work.
