Server Switch

I’m going to be switching Addison Road over to a new server tonight, so there may be some weirdness. Everything is backed up to it’s current state, as of the time of this post, but any comments or posts left in the next few hours might get lost in the transition.

This switch much more complicated than it should be because the crappy, crappy hosting company I started with 5 years ago (ipowerweb) doesn’t allow you to have access to your own data via SSH. They also seem to have done a very bad job of installing their FTP server, since it randomly decides to seize up and disconnect mid-transfer. I’ve had to start and stop the server transfer 50 times, no joke.

All of which probably explains why I’ve decided to leave them behind. I’ll let you know when the transition is completed.
