Good ol’ Pat Robertson is at it again. If I read this right, and I read this right, then my good ol’ fundie senses tell me we need to have us a stoning! My favorite quote from the article: “I have a relatively good track record,” he said. “Sometimes I miss.” Pat, Would it be presumptuous of me to ask you to reread the letter I wrote you a while back?

    So………..just like Ariel Sharon was “punished” with a stroke perhaps I should therefore assume the stroke I suffered from was punishment from God as well? And here I went and shlepped myself down to a Jewish neurologist at Cedars-Sinai in L.A. when I should’ve been calling Pat to find out about my sins! Heavens to Betsy, my theology is just all amiss! Sounds like I have at least a bit of time to clear it all up though…Pat said the mass killing won’t take place until “late” in 2007. Golly, that’s a relief!

    Right or wrong. Whacked or not. If something’s going to happen, good or bad and the Creator of the Universe, who made it all with a Word,wants it to happen.

    Well, what are you gonna do about it?

    I’m not brave enough to poke fun at anybody who says they are speaking for the Boss.

    Just because an promised event hasn’t happened yet might be because it isn’t coming at the exact chronological order we find easiest to understand.

    Most warnings in the Bible were made not to keep the thing from happening but rather to allow dopes like us time to repent.

    That’s the real plot. Get right. Then it doesn’t really matter what happens this round.
