The “One Laptop Per Child” is going to be offering their $100 laptop for sale to the public … for $200 dollars. The reason for the difference? One laptop goes to the person who buys it, one goes to a child in a developing nation. June, let’s get you guys registered as a developing country, then I can get one of these things for Sophia, and you guys can give the other to the Hobbit.

I think this is an awesome idea. The giving a computer to a needy child in a real developing country…not the Sophia/Hobbit exchange. :) What exactly to they put on a laptop for kids? I mean it’s probably a bit more than just Alpha Baby right?
