Yeah. I told Ramon (after he viewed the second trailer on our [ahem] new MacPro and almost wet himself - we’re pretty rabid Frank Miller fans) that one of the guys that hangs around here worked on the CG for that dancing chick. He’s not gay or anything, brother, but if you look down someday and catch a stocky, handsome half-Mexican humping your leg, well…

P.S. Gerard Butler looks a lot older in this film. Wasn’t he that hot youngster who just played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera? Must be the beard. Jeremy, is his mouth digitally enhanced to look way, way bigger? Kind of like the Mouth of Sauron in the LOTR-Return of the King extended version? No?

P.P.S. Let’s watch this movie together, you guys, and every time he screams “Sparta!!!” or “Spartans!!!” take a drink. Not makin’ fun - I already love this flick - but that dude must ice his throat every night after filming or something. Day-am.

Cerise, No Gerard’s mouth wasn’t enlarged. But man it can get big. He screams a lot in this movie. Very passionate. In one of the scenes we did he is passionately (read: screaming) debating his battle plan to his superiors. The note we got back was “Approved. Looks great but can we paint out all of the spit flying from his mouth?” There was A LOT of spit.

For those of you fans of the comic and worried that Zach doesn’t respect that, here’s a link to a shot comparison between the trailer and the comic. He did an amazing job of capturing the comic while creating something original….
