Flautists.

Back in my college Flute Ensemble days (yes, we had tour t-shirts) I could hold my own on an alto and a bass flute (which looks like a flute on massive amounts of steroids) but now I’m afraid I would only make babies cry and dogs howl.

Yes, that would be the worst church ever. But it would sound GREAT!

I’ve always loved this chant. Am I right in asserting that the older the hymn, the better? What is this, like 1500 years old? And it still holds up…and better, begs for reinterpretation.

Kudos, Michael. You’ve paid homage to the ancient, and given a nod to the future.
