A little Christmas music

So, I tried to post this before, but did something wrong… trying again… Mike, where are you when we NEED you? (Whine)

We need a little Christmas music. Santa Claus lives!

This is my fanfare on Deck the Halls for 12 herald trumpets (the long skinny ones) for the Long Beach Symphony Christmas Concert. Yes, it’s a touch frantic… hey, it’s a FANFARE, OK?

    Nice!

I think I need that played before I walk into a room. Sorta like the commercial with the guy who has the guy following him with a boombox playing his “theme music”.

I’m considering writing it out backwards, and having it played by tubas as I LEAVE the room.

I think I’ll play that for our two-year-old everytime he successfully uses the potty.

(Sorry Phil…it’s worthy of much more noble purposes, but hey, if ya throw a fanfare to the lions, we’re gonna scarf it up and do with it what we will!)

Hey June… I’m a hack arranger. Music for a purpose, ya know?

Although maybe the TUBAs would have been more appropriate for that particular, er, function.

Love it! Especially the sweet clarion call of the computer. There’s just something so authentic about technology.

Save tubas for the second… er… movement.

    You know, Mvt. number two?

    Ok, I’m done.

Heh, Sc0tlas - a movement you’d hear in the very bowels (get it? GET IT!?) of the performance hall.
