Wiggling her butt, back and forth, from side to side

First, listen to this.
ConcernedPastor.mp3Now, the remix.

That’s some slammin’ grooves. How can you NOT wiggle?
[laughing] Aw, that’s the good stuff.
That made my day. I think I’ll forward it to my pastor.
Hee hee!! That made me laugh so hard Bobby said “What are you laughing at?” from the other room.
Sharolyn,
Can I tell them about the moment when I instantly knew that you were going to be my friend? I’ll give you a hint: Reflection clothes shopping day.
That’s hot. Where exactly is this church? And Chad, how come you haven’t incorporated this type of musicianship?
Chad, I am so curious!
This is really funny. I wonder what my paster (Doug) would think. I’ve seen him jump up and down and wiggle from side to side. Hmmmm…….
I think there is something wrong with me. SHould a 53 year old church lady be laughing this hard!
I’m simply shocked and appalled.
Mostly appalled.
Well, maybe more shocked.
Where on earth did you find this recording??!! My husband was the actual recipient of this voice mail (no, it’s not a joke!)when he was head of music at a large church. His associate at the time created the mix; then promptly circulated it amongst friends in the music/church music biz. I guess news travels fast!!! It has provided hours of fun for friends and family.
That’s awesome! and now you found us … all together now, “It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, and it shakes its butt back and forth and side to side.”
Cheryl – I got it as an email forward from a friend (who is also our music pastor). Are you willing to share what city you are in? If not, email me… I am curious! It gave us much laughter for us as well. Thanks for writing.
Well, we are based in Minneapolis. At the time, my husband was working at a church in a suburb of Mpls. called Maple Grove. My husband and his friend no longer work there as they are on to different things now. All I know is that silly little remix first circulated in Mpls., then went to Milwaukee, then to Ireland, on to the east coast to Boston, and now to the west coast. Amazing! It’s more traveled than I am!
It’s the miracle of the Intra-web!
Hey, Cheryl … I got to know!
Was it your butt that was wiggling back and forth from side to side?
You can tell us, you are safe here.
And FYI it was my site where the audio was taken for the above blog. I got it from a friend, who got it from a friend at Southwestern Theological Seminary … so who knows how many times it has been passed around.
Ripening for the harvest,
Trent
No, sorry I was not the subject of the voice mail. Although I have been known to “move” to music. Music was meant to move to. To those who think we are doing a disservice to the caller, he shall remain unindentified. AND he IS precious to us; let’s laugh a little at ourselves, for crying out loud.
Cheryl, I agree there is no shame in moving to the music. Babies do this naturally as soon as they learn to walk. Dancing to the beat of music is innocent when a baby does it, and it is natural to do it to praise music as well.
That was audio gold and I know few people that have been offended by it. Almost everyone cracks up.
Ripening for the harvest,
Trent
I am very hurt at the statement! I cannot believe someone would write or say such a thing! Perhaps the one who did it would like to know that I was not “doing my thing with my butt.” I was simply reacting as I had as a slim male! My tranformation from a man to a woman had caused a tremendous weight gain! I have since learned from my situation and promise that I will not do “it” again!!!
Could you please email this file to me at timlett@aol.com — I don’t ever want to be without this to play for a laugh.
Thanks,
Tim
Cheryl,
Is it possible to get a copy of “Hello Pastor”? My wife can’t play it at her job, we don’t have a computer at home, and web sites that have it get blocked now at my job. It appears to be just an MP3 file, but none of the sites let me download it.
Thanks,
Alan
Just heard it on http://ship-of-fools.com which is a great site when we as Christians wanna just sit back and have a good laugh at ourselves.
I’m sure God used that guy as I really did need a boost this morning. I hope his day may be as blessed as hes just made mine.
Awesome. Have to get a copy!
Ive not managed to get my own copy but ive managed to get it onto my website.

Im trying to get people to look at the christian faith and ask themselves questions about their own life in a non pressure, non judgemental, humours kind of way.
Have a look see what you think.
Hilarious!
