Today was one of those rare days when G and I did … nothing! well, nothing significant. After the headlong rush of Holy Week and Easter, a day of just milling around the house, playing with Sophia, having some BBQ tri-tip and beer for dinner, now just crashing on the couch – just about perfect. Here’s to recovery, and a Sabbath at last.

I feel for you, Ash, Chad (and Aly, supreme-fakey-grass-stuffer) and all other church leaders during this week. At the chorale rehearsal last night all of the church music ministers, section leaders, choir directors, etc. (and they are legion) came in hoarse and bleary-eyed.
Rest now, poor things. Sleeeeep.
