The Shining: Terms of Endearment-style
Post-production editing has to be the funnest job ever. You don’t often think about the Power wielded by The Editor…but it is Broad and Far-Reaching. Case in point: this new trailer for the original The Shining.
Makes it look like the only scary part would be trying to get Ash to go with me: “Is that, like, a girl movie?”
Oh, no. They did NOT use my man’s “Solisbury Hill” in this trailer. No, no, no. Nobody messes with Monsieur Gabriel.

He doesn’t like the IDEA of girl movies, and then grudgingly admits he enjoyed them afterwards. VERY grudgingly.
Well, I don’t like the IDEA of there BEING girl and boy movies, but that’s a whole other ball game.
