I love the fact that we are a people capable of saying "We were wrong. We treated people without dignity, and witheld from them basic rights, and we were morally wrong for doing so. We honor Rosa Parks for demonstrating our error, and for catlyzing the change. We honor her to remind ourselves of the distance we have yet to travel." . We need more of that sort of thing.
