An hour spent re-aquainting myself with the studio after a week of taking care of more important things. More significantly, an hour spent reminding myself that I am, in fact, still a musician, after a bit of a dry spell creatively. I find that I get myself back on track best by starting with something thoroughly unimportant.
So here it is, take a listen, give yourself the gift of two minutes and thirty seconds of private head space, time to track down an errant line of thought, time to grab a second cup of coffee, time to hide out in your office between services so you don’t have to grip and grin …

Lovely, Mike. I like the crazy guitars that aren’t quite there. And the piano at the end reminds me of “I got soul, but I’m not a soulja.” Which is a good thing.
